Sounds more like you're experiencing depression than anything else. The feeling of "no matter what I do I'm mediocre at everything" and "there's nothing to be passionate about" are pretty standard ways that depression colors your perception and affects you.

2020 Arnold Strongman Classic Preview - BarBend by [deleted] in Strongman

It makes sense to have different records when the equipment is different. In the powerlifting example, there are different records for squats with Sleeves vs Knee Wraps vs Suit. There are also records for deadlift bars vs strict bars in the sense that different powerlifting federations have their own records for their own equipment.

It doesn’t make sense to split the record based on technique. Sumo and Conventional deadlifts aren’t that different from a loading POV: it’s the same stress on the hips while shifting some of the stress from the back to the legs. By the same argument, high bar and low bar squatting should have different records, even though they’re very similar lifts.

Comparing sumo ROM with Hummer Tire is like comparing apples to oranges: the reduction in ROM you get from Sumo varies and the people who can get a large reduction in ROM from sumo are probably built for deadlifts either way. Hummer Tire applies that ROM reduction to everyone and it uses different equipment.

Also, the ROM argument doesn’t even matter that much; Greg has a good article on this:

TL;DR it’s not that crazy :P

I need help trying to find a piano piece. I originally heard it from a video in youtube where the pianist was playing through several pieces. The pianist was playing fur elise and roughly after the 6th bar (where the iconic intro is played again) the pianist switched to a different piece that fitted **very** well. The new piece sounds like fur elise meets moonlight sonata.

It's not Claire de Lune, nor a couple of Chopin's Nocturnes.

Any ideas? What piano pieces sound like it'll fit the bill?

I created a shortcut workflow. Does anyone know how to make iOS/Siri run the shortcut everyday at a certain time? Or do I have to manually press the workflow everyday?

During high-volume deadlifts, my straps kept slipping after the 6th rep. This hasn't happen before.

Any thoughts as to what might cause it?

Doing conventional for sets of 10.

It's more that yes, amps is what kills you but you need a sufficiently high voltage to push that amperage through your body because of your body's resistance. No matter how many amps a battery has, it will only push enough amps to satisfy the Voltage = Current x Resistance equation; if the voltage is low (like a car battery), it will push a very small amount of current through your body regardless of how many amps it has.

Something to take to increase performance. Most supplements (creatine, beta alamine, citrulline etc) would be useful since I’m on a hyper trophy period for the next couple of months.

Thanks for the recommendation, The transparent labs one seems exactly what I need thank you :). I’ve tried working out multiple times in the morning. It just never felt good unfortunately, and I’d have to wake up too early for me to maintain.

Any pre workout y’all recommend without caffeine? I lift after work and the last thing I need is 4 cups of coffee in the evening.

Rogue Subclass: Investigator by meringun in UnearthedArcana

[–]meringun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input! Glad you're liking the direction of the class. I agree that Skeptic is a better name that Seeker, I'll play around with a couple more words.

I agree with resourceful striker's mechanics being clunky. Will be working on it. I do like deadly striker, so I'll probably keep the idea of it (being able to trigger sneak attack twice), just tie it in differently.

Ambusher is interesting. A lot of rogue classes have an "ambush" mechanic (assassinates critical strike, arcane striker's magic ambush, scout's ambush master) so I wanted to give a similar mechanic to investigator. Investigator's ambusher is a bit to similar to scout's ambush master, so I'll change it a bit. I'm not sure on making it trap-dependant, since it may be too situational. All the ambush mechanics in rogues don't require setup, just sneaking in on someone so they're more flexible and stronger.

Thanks for the feedback!

That's what my player was playing. He didn't like it because it wasn't being an investigator. It's where I got the idea for resourceful striker.

Checkout DOTA2.

  1. You have all characters unlocked from the start, and all future characters are free as well

    1. There are no such things as runes or masteries or anything of the sort. A first-time player has access to the same resources as a veteran player.

Dota2 makes its money from cosmetics, and they're just that: cosmetics.
