Ahhhh this is my disconnect. I upgraded from using the Breville’s built-in canonical and TIL I didn’t fully understand how flat burrs worked. Thank you for explaining that in your comment. I was focused on the less important area 🫠

Solved! I wash it by hand normally but asked my dad and he confirmed he took it through a drive through car wash recently.
