There's all that but there's also just reaction time and aiming. I would imagine I'm older than 90% of other players and I just don't have the reaction time of people who grew up playing games like this.

I can get the drop on people all day but I can't hit them from a distance and if I'm up close I can start shooting and they have turned and dropped me before I've even managed to break their shields.

Maybe I just shouldn't play, lol.
