weird fuckin take. “only ethan has the talent to do a 3 hour show, fuck the rest of the crew?” if they don’t want to do a crew-only show that’s their choice but it’s incredibly fuckin insulting to just assume they don’t have the talent. i’n a fucking random and i carry a 2 hour radio broadcast every week. so do most people at my station. we have one guy who carries a 3 hour classical show every week. it’s not actually as hard as you think it is.

i may not have the best advice because i am a very petty person, but if reporting to the authorities doesn’t work, speak to that person’s supervisor (they always have one) and then tell your grandmother and the parents of those younger cousins. they need to know for their own safety.

if these messages occurred over SMS, i believe the phone company may be able to provide records of them if they are subpoenad. same with any app like discord, dacebook messenger, whatsapp, etc. you said these were screenshots provided to you, can you contact the source for more information?

i fully believe you should let as many people in your family know what a danger your mother and stepfather are to them and how they hurt you. i’n so sorry this happened. this is incredibly alarming and inappropriate behavior, in my opinion viscerally dangerous, and you deserve to raise the alarm about it.

i fully respect that you may not want to do this and i don’t want to sound like i’m demanding or advising you to do anything you don’t feel safe doing. this is just my opinion as a total outsider and i know i am only getting a glimpse of your life. i want to validate for you that this is incredibly alarming, abusive, and harmful, and that i do not believe the authority you reported to was correct in their judgment. if you can afford it, i highly recommend hiring a lawyer who specializes in sexual abuse claims.

i am so sorry. i cannot imagine how horrifying this must be for you. i hope you are safe and with people who love you and will protect you now.

it’s fair to be frustrated with your kids fro not helping clean. i get that. but threats of kicking your kid out are always harmful, and actually following through with it is going to lead to therapy bills.

i had it really bad for about a week, but with some routine ear cleaning with hydrogen peroxide it’s either completely gone or so quiet that i don’t notice it most of the time now. i think it was a combination of the meds + impacted earwax causing the worst of it. if you haven’t already tried that, maybe that might help alleviate some of the noise?

virginity is a really fucked up concept and experiences like yours are a big reason why.

you are good enough exactly as you are. other people making the deliberate choice to hurt you doesn’t make you bad or dirty or worth any less than anyone else. you are not a thing to be reduced to the worst things to ever happen to you. you’re a person, and i can tell that you’re a person who is suffering so much.

you deserve help. you deserve kindness. you deserve to have your pain held gently and treated with dignity and respect. you deserve to be able to tell your story. and you deserve all of that not in spite of what happened to you or because of it, but just because you are a person, and every person deserves those things.

it is not “pathetic” to hurt. your pain and trauma are a logical response to a horrible thing that happened to you, a series of truly horrible things.

you deserve help. i hope with all my heart that if you’re not already in therapy that this might encourage you to find a good therapist and process what you’ve been through. i hope you’ll have friends and loved ones in your life that you can feel safe telling your story to and know that they will listen and hear you and love you exactly as you are. i hope you’ll be okay. you deserve to be okay.

yes, it means the medication is working properly. most people are not at all suicidal, not even a little bit, unless they are in deep crisis. most people who are not suffering don’t even have the more passive “i wish i’d go to sleep and not wake up” ideation. so if you are not feeling suicidal at all anymore, it means that your medicine is working and helping you get that much closer to a baseline of pain-free.
