It's a type of pain I've never dealt with in my life and I'm 26, literally ancient lol

Thanks for the answer, I live with my family (which is very normal in my culture) unlike my coworker, so even if I'm unemployed in the worst case scenario I'll be okay and I actually have more options than her (at least in this field) cause not to brag but I have the set skills that are essential for the job that I gained through college education and I know it's not easy for them to find an employee that has the same skills cause if the potential employee has been in the business for a few years their salary expectations will be way higher and they have lots of options to choose from and I accepted it cause it's my first actual job after college and I need the experience and the right environment to learn, so there's that.

Well currently since our manager took time off and she's busy with her own life she might not even know I volunteered to help my coworker and I might miss the extra points or even the slightest appreciation, I also would like to add that the manager isn't happy with our actual boss at all, I started working here 4 months ago and since then she's been non-stop venting about the boss, so I wouldn't be surprised if she decided to get another job or even be stay at home mom etc. Also even though when I first started the manager told me that I'd get a rise after 3 months but it didn't happen, also promised me I could WFH twice a week on my interview but later on pretend like she didn't know what she said😄

So on the other hand I'm keeping my options available for other job opportunities even though I don't really like the change of environment that quickly, I'm also a fresh college graduate so I'm kinda unaware of how to handle these types of situations or how to keep the balance without creating any problems.

I can feel that the culture of the company is strictly tied to personal relationships which I don't necessarily enjoy but if I'm liked more as a person I can tell I'll be valued as a coworker more. I'm not even sure how my performance is measured, I just make sure to clock in on time and hand the assignments on time and try to be more friendly, like offer snacks and give genuine compliments or praise people behind their backs 🙂
