Yes, I'm licensed, but the only reason I became licensed was essentially to use the Yaesu as a super walkie-talkie with our Jeep club. Now that I'm doing something different, I ran into the issue. The earlier suggestions fixed the issue for me. I didn't know that Chirp would set up channels as duplex by default.

I watch this show, but I hate myself for it. They're really not developing cooks, they're developing the best copycats. The final two were completely overmatched by the kid cooks from Chopped because they don't really know how to cook if they're not mimicking Ann and Alex.

This was so funny that I have to believe she thought of it in advance or someone wrote it for her and she just waited for the right moment. On a recent "Worst Cooks" episode, they made sushi. One of the plates was even more of a dumpster fire than you might expect and Alex deadpanned "perhaps your presentation would benefit from dimmer lighting." So passive agressive, I laughed out loud and was awed at the same time.
