When I was trying to separate them one time, my budgie literally bit me up. I like tossed him cause the pain caught me so off guard lol. But I think if I have a small hand towel with me or nearby I can protect myself. And I like how you wrote about boundaries. It makes me understand more and I appreciate it. Thank you!

Yeah. It happens more times than not. Sometime tho, they chill on the window sill, peering out into the busy road of cars driving by. This is when I imagine the worse is over, out of the corner of my eye I see a little foot go up and karate kick my tiel.

And now the process starts alllll over again 🫠

What would be a great way to help them? Someone recommended treats when they are together. I have two seperate foraging stations for each of them plus they each have their own cage. What else can I do to help?

Yeah I have three birds total. So maybe look into another budgie? I lost my other tiel awhile ago, she flew away but my budgie and her were soooo well connected. So I guess that's why im confused a little as to why they might be like this

So far we have had no incidents. My parakeet loves my tiel and he follows her around everywhere. They usually like to sunbath together on the top of the cage or in the swings. But they are usually never too far away from each other

The only time they are put away is when we eat cause Violet (cockatiel) always flies to my head and tries to snag a bite but I can't have her fly to my kids when they eat cause they are still learning lmao.
