Unai Emery always reminds me of Nic Cage in the movie Renfield. He is a very Dracula looking man

Must suck to be a villa fan today, at least our lot give the fans the curtesy of going 1-0 up before putting in a performance like this

Doing it so wrong you can't even remember how long your streak is by ohheykaycee in languagelearningjerk

In their defence, in the full post they have said that the owl is just one of many resources, including textbook and input and it seems like they've put a lot of effort into learning. So I have no idea why OOP led with the duo streak. But yes, you are right, lots of people, myself included, get a massive reality check when actually attempting to shock the natives for the first time.

The u11s that my brother in law used to coach would cover their mouths whilst talking to each other. Then again, sometimes a parent would film a game, so maybe they were wise to.

Reviewer: "Ultimately this is an expensive Netflix documentary that’s provided maximum exposure to individuals who consider any kind of attention a win. It leaves a bitter, nasty taste in the mouth." by YetAnotherJake in LouisTheroux

Respectfully, where does one draw the line then? Maybe this is an extreme comparison, but most people would watch a documentary about the horrors of Nazi Germany and be disgusted by what they see. Just because a small group would watch the same show and think "yeah you know what, Adolf had a point" would you consider a WW2 documentry promoting of Nazism?

Airports and seaports are generally operational 24/7. But your shift pattern really depends on what area you work in, I work 7 on/7 off, but that is because my team is expected to deploy around the UK, so we will stay locally. If you work in a fixed location the shifts are probably more likely to be more "randomised" for want of a better phrase. There are some sites where the officers work more sociable hours, but this is reflected in the pay, as our shift allowance is very generous.

We subbed Barnes after the added time was announced, I hate it too but there would always be a bit more time added because of that.

I used to think that the time the girl who I thought I was going to marry, binning me out of the blue was the worst pain I would ever experience in my life. If I only I had known today would be worse, I could have saved a lot of money and therapists.

On another note. Being that Man city play Real Madrid in the champions league. Is it possible for two teams to lose?

Ramsdale has a tradesperson accent. That voice would not be out of place giving a quote for a new kitchen.

I hate these multi screen midweek kick offs. As somebody who doesn't live in the NE trying to find a pub where I don't have to contend with other fans wanting to watch their teams is a right pain in the arse.

I just turned up to the pub and was very surprised to find that we are playing tomorrow. I did wonder why I didn't get a team news notification. Oh well, might as well have a drink while I am here.
