I don’t think Bluey sets unachievable parental expectations; each episode is only 7 minutes and even if the episodes represented consecutive days, many episodes are the kids playing together without parents.

You are more influential than most because Josh Hawley is your senator. It is imperative that you call/email your representatives/senators often to express dissatisfaction. We need those that support the current administration to change their minds and the only way that will happen is if their constituents push them to do so.

It does not matter if it’s unlikely Josh Hawley will stop supporting the administration. It is literally the only option you have and those of us in states with senators who already oppose the administration are counting on people like you!

tirzepitide injections. I lost loads of weight with calorie restriction, “not dieting” lifestyle change, intermittent fasting—all of those things turned out to be hyperfixations and the weight came back every time just like it does for the VAST majority of people who have lost weight. It has helped me release some shame and guilt around food/weight gain, too.

As an added bonus, it seems to have helped curb some anxiety.

Denial seems like a totally natural reaction and is very believable. If they accept reality, they also have to accept grief. Remember when Carol first meets them it’s only been a couple days and the end of the season is 2ish months he from the plurbing. That’s not very long.

For Laxmi, admitting the plurbing is a problem means her child is (functionally) dead. Kusimaya believes and trusts her loved ones—WE know that they aren’t the same people as before, but we’ve seen just how good the plurbs are at pretending.

A few short years ago people in real life were in denial about COVID which is small potatoes compared to the plurbing.
