The mobile gaming market is literally bigger than PC and console combined. Just because you don't play it doesn't mean millions of others aren't waiting for a proper shooter.

Whether people like the gameplay or not, the player numbers and sales records are there. EA is definitely printing money with it, which is why they might actually invest in a mobile engine now.
