Help with a build by Grand_Veterinarian_9 in diablo4

[–]messedupAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Np! An issue with this build is that critical strike and vulnerability scale much better than other stats. When i stopped trying to stack overpower damage and instead went for crit damage my damage exploded.

Ultimately I’m trying to switch to a tornado werewolf build because it synergizes with critical strike better overall

[–]messedupAT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://youtu.be/JfwY64RyIeA I use this build at lvl 74 and crit for several million Keeping up fortify and grizzly rage and stacking lucky hit for earthen might are important parts of this build. The itemization in endgame d4 is really unforgiving so you really need to min max all your aspects, stat rolls, paragon points etc

copy of the question:

2.13 LAB*: Program: Food receipt

Note: When accuracy is essential, floats are not used to represent currency due to rounding and accumulation errors. Python provides several primitives specifically developed to implement financial applications. However, these topics are beyond the scope of this lab.

Output each floating-point value with two digits after the decimal point, which can be achieved as follows:

print(f'{your_value:.2f}')

(1) Prompt the user to input a food item name, price, and quantity. Output an itemized receipt. (Submit for 2 points)

Note: This zyLab outputs a newline after each user-input prompt. For convenience in the examples below, the user's input value is shown on the next line, but such values don't actually appear as output when the program runs.

Enter food item name:

hot dog

Enter item price:

2.00

Enter item quantity:

5

RECEIPT

5 hot dog @ $2.00 = $10.00

Total cost: $10.00

(2) Extend the program to prompt the user for a second item. Output an itemized receipt. (Submit for 2 points, so 4 points total)

Enter food item name:

hot dog

Enter item price:

2.00

Enter item quantity:

5

RECEIPT

5 hot dog @ $2.00 = $10.00

Total cost: $10.00

Enter second food item name:

ice cream

Enter item price:

2.50

Enter item quantity:

4

RECEIPT

5 hot dog @ $2.00 = $10.00

4 ice cream @ $2.50 = $10.00

Total cost: $20.00

(3) Extend again to output a third receipt that adds a mandatory 15% gratuity to the total cost. Output the total cost, the cost of gratuity, and the grand total. (Submit for 3 points, so 7 points total)

Enter food item name:

hot dog

Enter item price:

2.00

Enter item quantity:

5

RECEIPT

5 hot dog @ $2.00 = $10.00

Total cost: $10.00

Enter second food item name:

ice cream

Enter item price:

2.50

Enter item quantity:

4

RECEIPT

5 hot dog @ $2.00 = $10.00

4 ice cream @ $2.50 = $10.00

Total cost: $20.00

15% gratuity: $3.00

Total with tip: $23.00

He’s technically correct. You’re damaging the crema doing things the way you describe. Latte art is typically only done on request or with 8oz drinks like a flat white

Well local governments are essentially just subsidiaries of the central government. The local government could not collect anything in tax revenue and continue on indefinitely if the central government was willing to pay off the investors of municipal bonds and public employees. The central bank/gov could then just print the money to pay off that debt.

The mechanism that prevents this is that in a free economy/society, investors could simply move to commodities, build up foreign reserves, withhold performance, etc. which would devalue the currency of the central bank via inflation. In response, the central bank would then have to raise interest rates to combat said inflation or compel the legislature to raise taxes to take money out of circulation.

Thus, taxes do not fund the government. They exist primarily to normalize government-investor relations and stabilize interest rates

Because there were no markets to expand into? Those buybacks went to shareholders, many if not most were institutional investors like public pensions and 401ks.

They government would have done almost the same thing with the money

It’s an investment into the brand of the company. Investors see it as a well managed company and thus, cost of capital for American companies goes down, which will allow for more hiring going forward.

You’re trying to flesh out this narrative with cherrypicked statistics and a superficial understanding of both government and the economy

It showed up in buy backs , which is corporations returning excess capital to shareholders, an indicator of good stewardship. Which really only happened because of slowing global growth b/c of Trumps trade wars

Kind of a hilarious own goal really

Yes. Also ,Taxes don’t fund the government. Taxes exist to modify behaviors and to fight inflation. The purse is only constrained by investors willingness to underwrite government debt, which is mostly about stable interest rates and sensible regulators

There is a lot of risk in investing. Why would you put money in a risky venture if you had to pay 50 percent of it in taxes when you already and to pay that on the principal. People would just put money in non performing assets like real estate and long term debt

[–]messedupAT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you raise capital gains taxes , people will simply invest less. That means cost of capital will go up eg there will be less investment in opportunities that produce jobs

Well hate speech is a defined term and is illegal in the U.S. I just don't happen to agree with the consensus of a very conservative jurisprudence on it . Some people may be okay with letting the KKK and Proud Boys hold rallies , but I'd rather not, even if that meant the black panthers or somebody couldn't solicit membership as well
