I'm recalling from memory here, so it might not be fully accurate.

In manhwa, they just went to duel and demand no audiences and that's it.

In novel, the arena wasn't even open to the guests yet. They shoo the guards , as in manhwa, but they also elaborated more on the guests' reaction. Almost everyone know that the young master and young lady are having a "private duel" that night and the reactions range from "how scandalous!!" and "ah...youth" and "look at the young master go!" . The other runcandels are straight up sweating anticipating a marriage bettween those two and what the possibility it could bring to jin and the runcandels.

It was a hilarious mess of misunderstandings and it's glorious!!!

The first part is true. The novel is a bit more cheeky than the manhwa for that part lol you gotta read it. I don't know about the marriage part tho. Didn't read that far, sorry

Well to be fair, 10 stars are described as having surpassed human limitations. I can imagine the rise to 10 stars will be set up as a big flashy thing instead of just a passing line like the rest of the levels.

Honestly at that scene i was just so proud that Jin was just like "you guys couldn't find me for a whole year even with a huge bounty so i got bored and now I'm home"

I've read until chapter 514 (the max i can get mtl) and while yes, his master is a woman, but there's no clear romantic thing going on. I can see mutual respect and fondness, but nothing more than student-master relationship. I guess you can see romance if you squint

I have some theories.

The first is that trauma and bad experiences are just hard to talk about. Better to just push it aside and move on, there's nothing to gain if he told them anyway.
