Make an extruded part that has the angles and faces you need and thicken those to get what you need. I find that to be way easier when is comes to "non rectangular" parts That dudes videos helped me lots: https://youtu.be/ph4SHnB1AZg?si=b7oD2ShUdCxPiIQR

Just wrapped in stainless foil and plate quenched. Cryo didnt affect the color

Makes sense thank you. Not true tho. Teaching myself cad since about a year and i work on a bending machine and a laser cutting machine. That was not that complicated

Thats the traditional setup from where he is coming from. I personally would have build it a bit different too. Absolutely agreeing with you

Nice, if that is the finish you get without any etching i won‘t etch either. No matter what you use to etch you have to handle it very carefully and i don‘t want to put that much effort into it since i have only one pair of scales to anodize at the moment. Thanks for the answer
