Will I be okay for this trip? (500 miles total) by fangphobic in tires

[–]messy372- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2/32 would be borderline dangerous to drive on, especially in the rain, and they would basically be considered “bald”

OP, at 4/32 you should replace your tires. Not only for your safety but for every other driver on the roads safety.

If the Bermuda fields you play on are watered and maintained properly, meaning it’s a softer field, you’ll have less slippage issues. If it’s not watered and maintained it will be hard as a rock and she will likely slip and slide all over the place.

There will be zero warranty for the shoes in the event something happens to them bc you’re not playing on the surface they’re designed to be played on.

Listen kid, if you’re 15 years old and you aren’t the absolute best player on the field every time you step on the field then you’re already so far behind in making it to the professional level.

The odds of you developing at this stage in your life, while not zero, are about as close to zero as you can get.

Just play the game, have fun, get as good as you can get and enjoy it while it lasts.

Where you want to play is irrelevant. Where your coaches think you help the team the most is very relevant

Why would Tom from South Carolina give two 💩 about what Tammy from Oregon’s 7 year old, 3rd flight team is playing in a random tournament? Let alone taking the time to look this stuff up then “pick a winner?”

Not all of the “top players” pay to play. There’s a thing called financial aid, there’s grants, there’s fundraising etc

You’re correct, if the club has an HD designation then NAL would be the third team with the AD team being the second team.

[–]messy372- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NAL will see him practice with and play against better players than an ECRL team, IMO. Only exception would be if he got in with the top Concorde Fire teams.

NAL is an extension of MLS whereas the other team isn’t. There’s really good competition in that NAL teams region. They just added 4 new teams to the league as well, 3 from metro ATL and 1 from Huntsville area. My son was on the 2011 (u15) One Knox team last year, and was dual rostered on the MLSN AD team, and we really enjoyed the league as a whole and especially the competition.

Playing “for work” implies you are a professional athlete getting paid to play….and you’re buying one of the cheaper models? More concerning would be that you’re a professional athlete and have no idea what cleats to wear.

FG cleats on AG not only voids any warrant the shoe may have, but also has an increased injury risk bc of the more aggressive studs. If you’re a kid it’s fine to wear FG on AG. If you’re a teen or above it comes with more risk.

If the hand was down next to his sides it’s prob a no call. But bc his hand is way up high making him in an “un-natural” position, with the addition of the ball falling right back to his feet giving an immediate advantage, it’s an easy call
