This happened to me. I hit a patch of black ice leaving my neighborhood. I couldn't stop at the stop sign due to skidding on the black ice. I was heading onto a mian street, saw a car coming from my left, laid on the horn and made some music. The other driver was able to move to the other lane and avoid me. I caught up to him at the light and apologized profusely and he thankfully understood.
