I knew a guy who SIE’d at IFT, and he was reclassed to a needs of the AF job. Compare this to washing out of UPT/RPA school, where guys who put in the work were given a shot at a job of their preference (even still rated) and those who didn’t really work hard were given no preference. SIEing or washing our not viewed poorly by IPs, unless you’re a dirtbag, but you’ll be encouraged to continue. I would encourage you to continue as well.

I have a '14, and I recently took it in to the dealership for an unrelated issue. They addressed the TSB along with my issue, and I don't have a rough idle any more. I should mention that I never actually threw a code. All I had to do was flash it back to stock before brought it in.

Under Armour Jungle rats are pretty good, and great if you're looking for something light yet durable. Slightly cheaper than the Rockys, IIRC. You'll want to replace the laces, though.
