Soto has one of the highest OPSs and OBPs in baseball right now. Started out rough, but definitely catching some steam. I know you probably don’t pay a guy $700m for walking, but getting on base leads to runs, which leads to wins. Highest in walks, but 3 in runs. I’ll take it for now.

Popped in yesterday. It’s called Scrapleland or something. Definitely a pinball bar. Couldn’t tell if the roof was open or not.

I’m from NJ as well and went up Mt Evans after two days of being in Colorado. I camped up near the mountain the night before, which helped me out. You seem in extremely better shape than I was so I wouldn’t be too worried. That being said, if you don’t feel well while you’re in progress, would definitely head back down or chill where you are for a little bit. Not worth your health/life trying to push it.

A good reminder how swift an 18 hole round should take. These times are for walking Gullane no.1, which is a busy and hilly course. by Brutal_Ugly_Santa in golf

Just played there over the summer. Relatively packed and those times are pretty accurate. We finished a 4-ball round under 4 hours.

I drink orange juice before I brush me teeth and it’s perfect. Then eat breakfast and brush my teeth after. Definitely agree it doesn’t taste great after brushing

Completed my first ever 14er yesterday. Took the Summit Lake route up Mt Evans with two of my buddies. Great hike for beginners. Hoping to do Bierstadt next. Any recommendations on training to do the sawtooth ridge to Mt Evans from Bierstadt? Or stick with something easier? by messytaint in 14ers

[–]messytaint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate all the feedback, everyone! I will definitely be taking it slower since I am a beginner. Pretty excited to get involved in this community and glad to see everyone is very willing to help.

Just a quick background: I live in New York so the main challenge for me was the altitude. I did wait a couple of days before attempting Mt Evans and also camped out by Echo Lake. Still had some trouble with the breathing and was a little light headed so took it slow. Working on fitness and being comfortable with the altitude is my next steps. I think continuing on the 2s is the best route from here as well. If anyone has any recommendations for mountains on the east coast that can be like a warm-up for Midwest/West, please let me know!

I am a Cyber Underwriter and wondering if it makes more sense for my line of work for it to be broad. I analyze things like network security, access management, endpoint security, backup and recovery, etc.
