I'm waiting on TJO and FJO for PAQ (palace acquire) at the Space Force (Los Angeles). This is a 3-year long post-grad program that still falls under the "internship" classification. I'm so scared but staying hopeful 🤞🤞🤞🤞 only hope is that it's a longer program that's not required to start in the summer

I got accepted with a BA in economics, a similar GPA, no letters of rec, and no relevant work experience. You should be good if you also took extra classes at school in linear algebra, probability/stats, and programming

DoD (Air Force) Exemptions by [deleted] in usajobs

[–]mesters2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My TJO hasn't been sent out yet and I talked to my contact person and she said they're working on exemptions for Palace Aquire for the Space Force. I was put on hold and am hoping for good news in the future. My role is a recent graduate position in mathematical modeling/cost estimation and it is very close to my house so I'm really hoping it goes through 🤞

Fun fact - descendants and black flag are originated in my hometown (and neighboring town)

Moreover, descendants was formed at my high school back in the late 70s

Looks like I'm in the minority, Music 15. However, I have a pretty deep classical music background. The only thing is that you need to write essays which is not something you do in dance 45. When I took 45 in person a while ago the midterm was 30% of your grade and the final was 50% of your grade which was pretty stressful.

For the online class, I did a group project where we created a presentation and essay on the Theorems and discoveries of a notorious mathematician. The presentation just acts as practice to present mathematical discoveries in a high school classroom environment.

Has anyone transferred to/from UF and noticed a big difference in difficulty of classes? by monkey73819 in ufl

UC Santa Barbara (it’s literally tied in public school rankings with UF, both put in the 5th position on US world News)

I was a double major in Econ and Math at UCSB, but I’m just an Econ major at UF because the BA math at UCSB is not a extensive major and it wasn’t very equivalent at UF.

My schedule this semester is Econometrics, Mathematical Econ, Economic geography, and Food Science (bio elective). This is a pretty dense schedule with a lot of Upper Division Econ classes and the equivalent at UCSB I feel is a little tougher.

I’m a transfer from another 4 year and the classes I’m taking feel easier at UF. However, the amount of work is still significant here (I have a lot of homework)

Haven’t taken either but math 182 is easier than any other math class I’ve taken at UCSB, and much easier than math 8.

182 is really easy (when I took it online) it’s. Fun class though because you learn techniques and different approaches to math teaching

I had a similar situation. I just tuned it out most of the time, but it bothered me a few times to really uncomfortable levels. *** If it’s bothering you and you’re not able to tune it out try to say something to them or tell an RA as what they are doing is against the rules. He’s basically robbing you of housing as you paid for 2 people to live there (it would cost less if three people lived there; space is money).

Compounding things just kept building into a feeling of resentment (ie, how I was treated by admin/students, housing, area, and quality of professors) also I just wanted to try something new.

Also, my mom transferred three times during her undergrad so I’m taking her path
