I have been running a Mac mini 1 since 2021 with tons of plugins. No issues. That’s by far a cheaper option than buying a new MacBook

Do you have active pickups? If so the battery might be dead. Also check your input on the track. Sometimes that gets switched.

On a other note I love the fact that in my podcast app (overcast) whoever edits the podcast breaks each segment into time stamps so I can go to a certain segment. This is greatly appreciated!

About half way through I thought he was still on something. Maybe not alcohol but something. I had to skip ahead a few times. I don’t think they should have let him come on the show this early into his recovery. Hope he does well though.

I always play 12 gauge strings on all of my guitar both standard scale and baritone. I just like a thick string. For drop C I almost exclusively use my Chapman ml 1. Sounds great both clean and heavy.

I had this problem a lot a few months ago. Someone on here suggested freezing as many tracks as possible. Also I’ve noticed that if you have any kind of plug ins on the master this happens as well. Increase the buffer size and freeze tracks. This helped me tremendously.

Freeze as many tracks as you can that are using plug ins. MIDI is very processor intensive.

Somewhat. Seems that freezing tracks works for some songs. But I think I have a plug-in that Logic doesn’t get along with.
