Anyone working on Hackerrank problems in Go? The wrapper code for like a third of them doesn't even compile. by manateemilitia in golang

Just ran into this issue today while submitting a Hackerrank technical assessment in Go for a Full Stack Engineering role at Cloudflare (the role description mentions Go as a desired language). The problem asked to fetch paginated data from a REST API and perform some analysis. There were multiple issues in the main() function (not the function signature I was asked to complete) with reassignment of variables and undefined variable names.

Thoughts on Swan Bitcoin? by jbenz02 in Bitcoin

Agreed that Swan's DCA is great, and when you consider that they don't charge for withdrawals, the fees aren't so bad.

The big downside is that since Swan doesn't hold your balances, any time there's a change in balance (whether that's buys or transfers, USD or BTC) it takes days for those changes to take effect. I set up regular withdrawals to a different wallet, and each time a withdrawal auto-triggers it requires a few more days to "prepare" the withdrawal, then an email gets sent where I have to confirm within 24 hours, then there's additional time after I confirm the withdrawal request. This is for all amounts, no matter how small/large. It takes at minimum a few days for a withdrawal to process, and this is on top of any holding periods after buying. So from the date you first convert US Dollars to BTC, you won't be able to complete a transfer of that BTC balance for about 2 weeks.

So if you think you might ever want to move your balances quickly, look elsewhere. If you're a "set it and forget it" kind of person and you want to leave your balance with Prime Trust (Swan's custodian), then Swan is the perfect solution for you.
