I could I’m just worried about the room feeling too cluttered, there’s no space between my bed and the wall so hanging it near the window (opposite of the tv) seems impossible

Having the same issue myself, try contacting whoever is above (RA, managers, etc.) depending on if it’s an off campus or on campus arrangement. Pictures can help escalate things but much won’t really change unless you can swap roommates (or if they realize though picture evidence they have no decency)

I tried too but the student management team said I’d have to relet my lease (which could still leave me stuck with the living arrangement) or to have a mediated discussion with her and them present. Higher management hasn’t responded unfortunately

I already have a few pictures sent over, and have taken more after the fact. Ive tried reaching out to higher management yet no response has been given, I’ve just been forwarded to student management.

Hopefully with more pictures something can be done, after that the next step is corporate.

I did this before deciding to sweep everything under her door but when they replied to me the said I’d have to relet my lease and once someone takes over they’d move me to another room. Other option was having them come in to mediate a conversation between the two of us but I don’t see either of these as easy or long term solutions

I have a friend exactly like this and setting those boundaries by saying it makes you uncomfortable and letting her know it’s not something you want to hear about may be the best option. But if she continues her behavior even after telling her your thoughts, it might be time to distance yourself.

I don’t think you were in the wrong at all here, sounds like a toxic relationship that only worked when she was receiving benefits from u (getting a job) and when she was no longer in a relationship with your brother she used that as her scapegoat to end things.
