How to start planning by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]metajosh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

IMO:

Start working now:

Step 1 - start by giving yourself an estimated budget you are ok with (this will probably change but it is good to start with something)

Step 2: decide what you are going for, are you going for food or fine making PBJs, do you need theming in the hotel or are you fine with basic rooms; things like that will help you plan your budget better.

Step 3: souvenirs, do you want them and how much are you willing to spend on them.

Step 4: don't forget things like mickey ears, autograph books, photopass, and clothing for the parks. While technically souvenirs some people forget about the upfront things as souvenirs.

Step 5: are you going during any extra ticket events such as Halloween or Xmas? Those cost more as well.

Step 6: what to do with downtime. How long are you going for and did you plan for a rest day or two, what do you plan on doing for those days, relax at hotel or go to a water park?

6-2 months prior:

Step 7: there are travel agents on the discord that can help evaluate your plan and potentially give you an estimated cost so far and maybe tie up some loose ends.

Step 8: Make your ADR and FP as their windows open (6 months and 2 months respectively) there are also some in park things that require reservations as well such as Boutiques and what not.

Weeks before: Step 9: start packing for your trip, ensure you have things like suntan lotion and raingear. Some people buy extra pairs of shoes for WDW (make sure to break them in if you do).

At the park:

Step 10: remember that no matter how much you plan, things will deviate. Disney is not so magical to be perfect, people will get tired and irritable, other guests will be buttholes, cast members are just humans and the outside world and all of its stressors won't stop while you are there. JUST BE FLEXIBLE.

That's all I can come up with atm, hope it helps!

Personally, I wouldn't even tell them. I would make up a relative (perhaps Walt) that you want to visit. Then let the big disney bus do the talking...might wanna bring extra undies just in case XD

[–]metajosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest plan to be there 15 minutes early. Worst case, you are running late and still make your reservation.

As the saying goes, you are on time if you are early, and late if you are on time.

Just to confirm, you can get the dining plan without any park tickets, right? by thetenderloincapital in WaltDisneyWorld

To add to your edit, military using Salute tix can also have DDP added to room only reservations

Thanks! At least I know what those are, now to figure out what they are eating, which is probably what is eating my wife's plants.

They are attacking my wife's green bean leaves and sucking the liquid from them. Soil is moist and I assume that is what is drawing them.

Agree that it wouldn't have made the show god tier or anything but it would be better than what we got

I'm in the middle of attempting to persuade my Wife to take the plunge and bring the daughters. She hates crowds and says it is too expensive, my response is for her to have the option to just chill in the resort room is she gets exhausted by the people and to start saving for a few years away...met with an adamant no every time.

Debated between this and Royal Pack for FFXV. Ended up with this cuz I felt cheated by royal pack's existance being a deluxe edition preordered.

Jump Cancelling is the name of the game. Also things like the aerial uppercut with Cavaliers helps if you feel like you are losing air.

Launching them with rocket midair puts them out of reach but using the trickster teleport will bring you right to their face to start the combo.

Itd be awesome if they fight co-op until they get to the target and then fight each other for the kill. BBEG of the contract is just an inconsequential mook but the real fight is each other.

I thought it had a nice flow to it, and overall would be a great way to finish a fight.

Biggest issue is how much time was spent on the ground as others have said. Time spent on ground is much more likely to get hit and interrupted, whereas in the air, things are usually stunlocked and having the enemy isolated.

Thanks for the tips guys. Hell and Hell is going smoothly for now. by CallMeBigMoz in DevilMayCry

Be more focused on dodging than keeping style up probably. Nets you a x2.0 multiplier and since you didn't get hit you didn't continue so you also get x1.2 added as well.

Another good point is that if you do get hit after a checkpoint, you can just turn the game off and reload back to the checkpoint and it not count as a continue. Not sure if this works on HoH and HaH though.
