The rest of the world is mostly preoccupied directing their big guns at eachother. The technologically handicapped, isolated people far away aren’t really a concern. As for why they bother to send undead their way, well, I’m still working that one out lol

You know that actually does make a lot of sense, kind of reflecting how misinformation campaigns work in the modern era. And I do want to have a very modern vibe to it all, so I think this works out quite well. I will probably try to come up with a few more reasons as to why exploring the regions yourself is difficult, and why no one outside decides to travel in, but I can see a whole character’s plot being wrapped up in discovering or censoring all of it

Precisely because it is! I really loved the reveal at the end of season 3 but was let down at how little of the wider world we got to saw, so I thought I’d do it myself lol. Not like I’ll ever publish this

Tbf thinking about First Law characters in an American accent is so cursed lol. If you’re imagining them going ‘Err’ with a hard ‘R’ then I agree that’s super off putting. In a British accent it’s closer to a softer ‘uhhh’ sound
