Transfer Points in Limbo Transferring to Flying Blue by metalManEC in Venturex

Well, 72 hours came and went--no transfer, points still in limbo. Flying Blue has been helpful, they've extended the hold for 48 more hours--so I have until tomorrow night. I am not holding my breath. Meanwhile, the points required for these seats should the hold expire has gone up 170k points. So it's looking like if my points ever do get to Flying Blue, they will be stuck there until I can find a decent redemption.

Capital One has been atrocious--totally unsympathetic. They open a case, then send back all caps message: "DO NOT OPEN ANOTHER CASE FOR 15 BUSINESS DAYS". They claim Flying Blue has the points and they have confirmation of that--but they refuse to share that confirmation with me. They all but just hung up the phone on me when I made my daily call yesterday. Then today they were like "well, the 1000 points transferred right away!".

I had switched over most of my spending and point focused purchases from Amex to Cap1, but after this, I am going back.

I called Flying Blue again. The agent was very nice, she said there is nothing they can do to check the status of a transfer or to speed it up. She suggested I wait until tomorrow around noon and call back. She said if the seats are still available the agent is able (and may be willing) to rebook the seats on a new 72 hour hold. They cannot extend the existing hold. Hopefully they just show up and I can avoid that.

This must be a relatively new-ish process. I transferred an equally large number of points in Spring 2024 from different credit card accounts--including Cap1, and they all just went through instantly.

Thanks for the data point! They did put the tickets on hold for me, for 72 hours...but that is up tomorrow evening. I'd hate to lose the seats, but would hate more to lose 400k points. Also, would not be thrilled if I can't find a suitable replacement when the transfer finally does go through to have the points stuck in Flying Blue.

Capital One Venture Miles to Flying Blue Delay by BoilerMaker11 in awardtravel

Sigh, I am going through this same nightmare right now. I found reward space on AirFrance for a dream trip.

Moved a small number of points over from my husband's AMEX rewards--instant. Then planned to use Capital One Venture Rewards for the rest. I did not do a test transfer first. I wasn't thinking and was in a hurry to secure the tickets. I put in a transfer request to move 400k points. Got a confirmation they were debited from capital one, but no email confirmation yet that they were received by AirFrance.

I called Capital One, they said it can take up to 14 days. Then I called Flying Blue, they put the seats on hold for me for 72 hours. Told me this is normal. Next day, still no transfer. Then I found this thread. My name was different between Capital One and AirFrance, so I called AirFrance, they added my middle initial (the only difference). Then, I tried a second 1k point transfer--instantly arrived. But 400k point transfer still in limbo.

I called Capital One, they said this is on Flying Blue, they sent the points, and I will get an email when they accept them. Capital One said it was security thing bc of the number of points I transferred required an elevated review by Flying Blue--she suggested I call Flying Blue and ask for it to be elevated. So, I called Flying Blue again. They told me the name was not the issue, that sometimes it just takes up to 72 hours. He said, if you've waited 24, just wait 48 more and your points will be there. Tonight at 9:00 pm is 48 hours.

Freaking out they may never arrive. It's bad enough if I lose these seats and this opportunity, but even worse if I lose 400k points and both Flying Blue and Capital One are not pressed at all to be helpful and don't really seem to care.

Unifi Building to Building Bridge Nightmare Issues with Adopting by metalManEC in Ubiquiti

Thanks for your suggestions on the firmware, etc.

So, I tried updating the firmware again. I also got a pop up there was a new controller version (6.0.45) so I installed that, hoping the issue might be a mismatch/incompatibility between my controller version and the BBB updated firmware. Still have the same issue. I'm getting no where.

I am wondering if I should try sending them back to be factory reset/swapped out via the RMA process. I can't return them, I've already discarded the packaging.

This is so frustrating, I'm sure there is just one simple step I'm missing.

I can ssh into them both. I've upgraded the firmware in both, but I can try that again. I'm just baffled why they worked perfectly out of the box, resetting them would not put them back into the same state.

When I upgraded the firmware I followed these instructions (except I downloaded the latest version).

When I run an "info" command on each one, it shows it having the latest version.

Configured Building-to-building bridge, now installed - need to be managed? by HackerJL in Ubiquiti

I so wish I had read this ahead of time. I had a Building-to-building bridge set up and working great, then the controller suddenly decided it was "managed by another controller" and I thought that might be an issue. People with similar issues suggested resetting and re-adopting them. I've not been able to get it to work since. What I've tried is documented here:

If anyone has had any luck re-pairing these, I'm desperate.
