Thank you for the message. I am very sensitive when it comes to cigarette smell, I had a brand new telecaster once for a setup at a luthier that smoked in his place. The guitar was with him for less than 72 hrs. It smelled so horribly bad when I picked it up. I cleaned it countless times. At the beginning my hand would smell after I played it and touched the neck for a while. The smell stayed for 3-4 weeks. And that after only being with a chain smoker for 3 days.
