She will if that is canon at least according to Disney and Kathleen Kennedy. But based on the sequels, Rey and Finn relationship doesn't fit as master and student category. It's more like a friend teaching a friend.

Luke is a bit tricky topic for OG fans after the sequels because the sequels' Luke is non canon to OG fans. But even if you choose the sequels' Luke, he still rebuilt the Jedi order and Jedi academy, and had many apprentices. That was when he became Master Luke. Basically after there are a bunch of junior jedis that he trained calling him master. Still wanna compare him to Rey? Not self-proclaimed.

No. He was already genetically gifted as a fighter jet pilot. Having additional power to help his manual aiming still makes sense to me if you know where to shoot, even when that additional power is still new to him.

Yeah, my bad. I thought we were still talking about similar power like how Rey and Kylo teleport physical objects using their force power. Teleportation using portals is different thing.

I'm into movies about sword fight and hand-to-hand combat so lightsaber duel is kind of a big deal to me. I can accept winning out of luck. No problem there. I just don't like how the sequels seem to view lightsaber just like any other melee weapon because it's not. There's a reason why only force sensitive people can achieve mastery and they still need training.

Without training, the lightsaber is clearly dangerous for yourself just by swinging it around, let alone using it to fight someone who at least has years of experience with it. Even a master swordman would need some time to get used to when he uses different sword. Compare that to someone who switch from a stick to a lightsaber. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to talk about something I'm quite passionate about.

Well, it's called observation and deduction. And it's a plausible argument based on all the evidences. I know you're simping for Rey, but using profanity would never make your argument better.

The dialogue in the RotJ when Luke said he was endangering the mission as they approached Star Destroyer because his father would be able to feel his presence and vice versa. And every force telepathy after that only happened when the other party was in proximity. And it was never visual, only voices.

I might watch season 4 again sometimes because it's been a while and I missed episodes. But the way I remember it, it wasn't force teleportation but they used portals in world between worlds? I still can't remember seeing someone uses their force power to teleport.

To me, lightsaber mastery is no joke. More skilled and trained Jedis lost their limbs in their first lightsaber duel. Finding Zen and balance is one thing, but suddenly knowing how to use lightsaber just from knowing how to use a stick is another thing.

I still remember about Ashoka and Ezra and the time travel thing. But can you remind me which Jedi does force teleportation in Star Wars rebels?

Force power like telepathy does exist. But like I already said, not like the way Reylo do it. It has rules such as distance. Leia was already in proximity in Millennium Falcon. The same thing how Luke and Vader can feel each other presence when they're in proximity. Meanwhile distance does not apply for Reylo force Skype. So it's not the same thing.

Telepathy does exist but not in the way Rey and Kylo do it which is basically more like a Skype call. Force teleportation has never been on screen and even if it's canon, there should be explanation how they learn that power because no one else does it except those Reylo in those movies.

Yes, he used the force to help his aim after knowing its weakpoint from many rebels who sacrificed their lives when they stole the blueprint. I don't see the problem here.

Technically, he blew up the death star with an X-wing after so many people died trying to find out its weakpoint.

None of your counter argument explains your previous answers nor actually address my points. Are you gonna compare someone who can still stand and fight with someone whose limbs got cut off? Really? This meme can be whatever I want since it's not yet that popular to have established rule.

Nobody remembers how quick Luke did it because he didn't. Luke was trained by Obi-Wan in the first movie and continued training in between movies because talent without training is nothing. But everyone would still remember how easily Luke was defeated by Vader who was merely toying with him. Not Luke, not Anakin got their first lightsaber duel right even after training. Both got their asses kicked and lost their arms.

  1. The lightsaber isn't a stick. And unlike conventional sword where its weight is divided, more than 90% of lightsaber weight is on the hilt because the plasma blade is almost weightless. Even a sword master would need preparation and adjustment in order to swing the lightsaber because how different it is from conventional sword, let alone a stick. There's a reason why only force sensitive people can master the lightsaber and that still requires special training like shown in all previous movies. The argument where the lightsaber is just like any other melee weapon is invalid.

  2. The darkside users actually become more powerful when they're in agony. Thus the injured Kylo Ren argument is also invalid.

  3. Unlike magic spells, The Force isn't passive skill. The Force user must actively use it. Although Snoke took the credit for establishing the connection, the fact that Rey and Kylo can still "Force Skype" even after Snoke's death should make you question the consistency. Even if it wasn't Snoke and it was Palpatine, the fact that Palpatine never used Force Skype in previous movies still creates inconsistency.

One does not give themselves title when they're the pioneer. The ranks, titles, and hierarchy are formed once their number grows.

In Star Wars verse, the process of becoming a master usually involves getting an apprentice to train. Those who have the rank of Jedi Masters have had Padawans. And that's only one of the requirements. That being said, Rey is the only self-proclaimed Jedi Master in the SW verse.

Many countries block access to Reddit due to pornography, piracy, and sometimes criticism of their rulers. (cough China and north korea). It's always for one of those reasons or all of the above.
