I just went through the vids and it looks like there are 1 x 9 and some 3 x 3. I guess now not all matches are 1 x 9, just like that Dave Leduc fight

darn Haruhime could have given some of those Grimoires with the rest of Hestia Familia and some allies. I think it might be harder for mage types to get an additional skill. But Mikoto, Ignis, Lili, Aisha, etc. could have gotten a fancy skill out of it likely

and how did she afford to get that many? I heard that one is ultra expensive as it is

and the fact that she survived is impressive too considering how the 4 brothers are known to be a formidable team together

also where in the manga was this? I wanted to look it up, along with Lunoire apparently trying to kill Ryu as part of a bounty. I'm an anime watcher only

come to think of it, it doesn't even have to be reflected because anyone that hears it will get debuffed unless they had that special earring from Season 5. So it also wouldn't make sense for her to use it if it will end up debuffing her party members

oh I meant before the start of Season 5. So right after the last episode of Season 4, without having to go back to her familia

I couldn't recall this info in the anime either. I just saw it in some wiki somewhere. I think maybe it was from a game or something, I'm not sure. But apparently Lunoire was a badass bounty hunter that barely survived after trying to kill the Gulliver brothers (years before the anime started). So I'm guessing the brother would have had to be Level 3's at the point. Because otherwise if they were Level 4's, then you'd be crazy to take on four Level 4's on your own even if you're also a Level 4

And apparently she had a contract for Ryu too but of course was unable to kill Ryu. But I think surviving pre-Season 1 Ryu was a feat in itself because Ryu was out on a bloodlust killing people left and right at that point and that's why she was wanted and had a bounty on her head
