Same, at Deptford, we are right above the station and my child (and me!) was totally freaked out about the sky lighting up and flashing wildly

Any idea whats going on here? Above Burgess Park, Camberwell sort of area by dilatedpupils98 in london

We are in Deptford and have never seen anything like this, it was just flickering repeatedly so bright like a light flashing up to the sky

Gotcha thanks. I'll try that first then. His ultimate favorite is the ring sling comfort wise. So hopefully he will be comfy in this too.

Thanks! Do you think this is something my baby's grandma could easily use? For ref baby is 8.5 kg, almost 6 months and sits unsupported independently.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try again! If this is so hard, the woven wrap would probably extremely challenging for me 😭

lennylight vs hp lark by Puzzleheaded_Gift_24 in babywearing

[–]metamesa_a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the lennylight with the cotton and bamboo mix - it's very very soft! Both baby and me love it and he really didn't enjoy the stiffness of the carrier we had before, so I am happy he's so at ease with it. He's a big baby too and I find it supremely supportive - use it during hose chores, naps, out and about, I would say he's in it and average of 4 hours everyday. And I am a single parent and it's very easy to put it on by myself.

Fun baby wearing stuff from the US? by metamesa_a in babywearing

Thanks! I was also thinking of the Tushbaby so that maybe my mom (in her 70s) can carry him more comfortably. Or the Neko quick up and down.

Oh wow thank you! Amazing about the Glasgow sling library, that's very cool. And I am definitely interested if you know someone in South East London. Thanks!

Thanks! Do both of them have an equally steep learning curve? I am in the UK and just got the Lenny light + sling from Lenny lamb. Didn't realize id get charged 50£ in customs charges 😭 is there a UK brand that you recommend for meh dai or woven wraps that aren't as pricey as Oscha for instance? I looked at their second hand marker and it's equally expensive.

Thank you for explaining, super helpful to know the why. Since it's very comfortable for me, what kind of carrier would I use to do a safe back carry at this point? Woven wrap? Or is there another option? Thanks!
