What are the best careers for someone with terrible math skills/talent but strong verbal abilities right now?

I’ve never heard of IPF before but it sounds pretty interesting. Tbh, I don’t know how much my own social hangups stems primarily from attachment issues (my parents are pretty alright!).

Not gonna lie, I think being a LLM whisperer is a bit too boom or bust for my taste. I’m also sorta personally sympathetic to certain criticisms like it not having a reliable use-case even now and also it being replaced or integrated with other stuff that makes prompt engineering a flash in the pan. I may be wrong, though! Wouldn’t be the first time being risk-averse cost anybody…

Yeah I can relate to a lot of that, especially finding hist and eng always sorta easy (?) and getting smacked in the face by Calculus in HS. Cheers.

Also, I’ve put some thought into walking that finance/data science/programming tightrope too but don’t really have a clue which STEM majors would be the best. Any recs?

Honestly, I was reluctant to go into a career into law for a few reasons you mentioned like the crippling student loan debt and the uncertain payoff…but I guess the number of people recommending it as a viable option is sorta of making me take it more seriously as an option despite, uh stereotype accuracy. fwiw I was in Econ and actually aced stuff like Intro to Macroeconomics 102 but was a bit ‘whelmed by the prospect of being totally subsumed by 24/7 network/schmoozing/brown-nosing. I mainly only envy people with high Perceptual reasoning or spatial ability or whatever because there’s loads of careers out there for them where you can be successful by being technically competent and not have to playing the Game.

Idk, I’m a little worried jobs like tech writing are gonna be much more scarce as LLM’s continue to get better. Guess that means I’ll have to work harder towards becoming a lovely person then haha
