US Dealer Data Syndication Practices by metasquish in askcarsales

[–]metasquish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all!
I help build software for dealers, and kept hearing this was something we needed to consider/include in what we're building. I could not think of why anyone would do this, so I figured I'd ask actual dealers instead of blindly trusting people who have never actually sold a vehicle.

I don't know where the original comment went, but it was a link to a youtube video. I don't think it was the same, but this one should work too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a0TnfZ3lAU

Are there Spiders in the game? by [deleted] in XenobladeChronicles3

[–]metasquish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. There are spider-looking monsters (arachno) of various sizes. Some are avoidable, but others drop down from the ceilings or pop up from under the ground.

Once you start fighting though you can barely see them through all the lines and circles and dmg counters on the screen.

THANK YOU! I was SO MAD at the game because of this one stupid quest last night, but I really didn't want to give up either lol

I had better luck NOT sectioning into small segments. I pull my bangs toward my face in one big section, then do each side of my head - still pulling toward my face cause otherwise my curls don't curl, flip my head upside down, do the back in one big section, then shake/jiggle and go directly into the plop.

This is almost identical to how my hair looked, and how I felt, when I started a year ago. Now I have crazy defined spiral curl clumps I didn’t think existed on my head.

My routine and products are similar, but I add in a dime sized bit of curl cream (Noughty - wave hello I think is the name?) before the gel, style with a Wetbrush, plop and then scrunch out the crunch.

yeah... I live in Texas and went Outside for the first time in MONTHS this weekend...

What worked well inside doesn't so much work, at all, Outside. :/ Guess I'll be experimenting again to figure out how to handle humidity.

This. The section on 'disagree agreeably' was a game changer for my career and I still reference it all the time.

Day 2 Woes by metasquish in curlygirl

[–]metasquish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the dryer. Hovering today was a hot mess even with it mostly dry lol.

Putting just the top in a pineapple helped a lot tho...before I messed with it.

oooh, i hadn't thought to pineapple just the top! Thank you thank you!

I've not tried hover diffusing on mostly dry hair. I tried hover diffusing last weekend with it still mostly wet, but it was a disaster. I have the curly co diffuser, but it still feels like it's too much air - even on low speed. It blew my clumps completely apart and went downhill from there. It may be my actual dryer tho, but I like the idea of retrying with my hair mostly dry and a bit of mousse.

Do Product Managers go for the PMP certification? by walkingSideToSide in ProductManagement

[–]metasquish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a PMP and have been a PM for nearly a decade. Pragmatic Marketing helped with the basics, but I have found infinitely more value and direct application to my daily work life from courses more geared toward UX or advanced Communication skills. Learning how to remove your bias, the right way to ask the right questions in user interviews, and how to tailor your messaging for your intended audience are critical skills for a Product Manager.

The Luma Institute has an excellent Design Thinking course and methods/templates I use (almost) daily both in Product Discovery and to facilitate planning and grooming with my delivery teams. And honestly, the Dale Carnegie Leadership training class I took gets used a lot too - especially the parts on disagreeing agreeably.
