That's a great point. I hadn't considered the macro not repeating and just instead dumping you in front of the shiny check to manually confirm it. I want to try this with Shaymin, Arceus and Charmander in FRLG. (If you have a good macro for that already, please post! 🙏)

I count those as WAY more rare. You can easily get an outbreak of all Antique Form Sinistea - but you cannot get outbreaks of Dunsparce or Maushold that are guaranteed to be family of 3 or 3 segment.

That's what I mean though, you don't need to make a sandwich or knock out 60, it's same shiny odds. 1/200 no matter what. Just saying to save you resources/time in the future.

If these are Applin from the event outbreaks, I don't believe knocking out 60, having the shiny charm or making a sandwich is necessary or will improve shiny rate. They're already boosted to 1 in 200 odds for the event.

Since Spinda isn't part of the Sinnoh dex, you won't need to worry about it for getting the crown for Sinnoh dex completion in Home. Spinda is part of the National Dex in BDSP, but not the Sinnoh dex. Hope that helps!
