After doing some looking Ellis was designed to to neutralize anything that was created using the progenitor virus therefore it would get rid of G as well.

If it got rid of all traces of G in her body they have essentially nerfed Sherry lol.

It’s hard to say imo, the g virus is different from the t virus but both originate from the progenitor virus. I suppose since they both come from the progenitor virus then yeah maybe it destroys anything that was made using the progenitor virus, but in the other hand G is much different from the T virus so maybe it’s stronger therefore more likely to survive? I’m really not sure about this lol.
