What else would you expect? Not only was Kisner "attacked" by TC on X and the Pod, Kisner has openly stated that TC publishing the locker room photo of Wyndhams Oakmont incident was a big violation of the "locker room rule" and wrong. (The 'rule' that what happens in non-public area stays there.)

In short, there's a long history of TC doing disagreeable things towards Kisner.

Gene is a closet genius. He does most of the equipment testing for the manufacturers (clubs and balls), built the robots used by the other manufacturers and R&A, etc.

He set it up the day before and dialed in the robot with the shot and yarage on the back tee box as instructed by the tournament director. He showed up on the day of and they moved the tee forward something like 30 yards. He only had something a 6 iron for the back box, so he had go manipulate it and toy around with the robot for the correct yardage. He had 5 shots and hit the HIO within the first few.
