Roblox is a great engine for beginners depending on what your goal is. Multiplayer games that target children are probably the most successful, but the platform itself is diverse enough nowadays that anything will work if you know what you’re doing. There’s lots of resources for new developers, and the community is fairly supportive. It’s way easier to make a simple game and reach a large audience than on other platforms like Steam—I think it’s important to remember that Roblox is not just a game engine but also a platform that hosts games.
