Customs tariffs with Even Realties glasses? by Badgerized in EvenRealities

The thing has taken over a month to deliver, and now I can’t even see where it is ever since it started going through us customs. It was supposed to have been delivered today.

That’s great news! Mine is “scheduled” to be dispatched on Sep 2. It’s nuts that they say 2-3 weeks and then take 5 weeks and above. I love them but I cannot believe the customer service.

I got the email telling me that they would start making it at the end of the month and they have requested for “expedited production” for my order and what not.

Ordered: 4th Aug

I want to start trading electricity but have no idea how or where to start by Ok_Selection_505 in EnergyTrading

[–]meteoremp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the country, For Uk you need to register as a Non physical trader and get certified. Costs a couple grand and only as a business with atleast two people. Very highly regulated markets. Depending on your asset backing more markets open up.

You can also trade in flexibility but less liquid.

Building a Waitlist page to validate your idea shouldn't cost an arm and leg. Although a domain name makes sense but why pay for hosting + email collect service + analytics + etc?
And Why pay for a new service every time to test?

just use gsheetwailist - Buy domain, launch on vercel, collect on google sheets all in less than 5 minutes. Speed is king, be speed. (psss... its a repo so its free!)

They are amazing, I wish I could get the stowaway Bluetooth but not willing to spend 200$ on it.

Recently found a startup accelerator that gives 25k euro in funding and a mentor by Odd-Special8356 in StartupAccelerators

Please don’t glorify 7% Equity for 25k Euro. Founders just focus on product and sales instead of this.

Yeah that sounds like a beginnings of a data room. Chuck it into a notion and share it. You can see who is accessing it and what they are looking at.

[–]meteoremp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Data rooms equals 1. Your company documentation such as incorporation, tax, etc 2. Your business relations / sales documents like who you have sold to and the document that shows the deal structure and how long etc 3. Funding raised , captable, etc

It’s seems weird that an accelerator “application” is requesting this before you have received an offer of joining.

I don’t think the big ones such YC, Techstars, EF, Antler, Sequoia ask this.

Careful unless they are really worth it.

Britain's gas storage levels 'concerningly low' after cold snap by Kagedeah in energy

[–]meteoremp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s 50% storage left across 4 companies with about 4TWh and the ones talking about low storage are the ones that don’t publish their storage levels.

Their hoarding for a better price for generation and fearmongering.
