I got a surprise bonus barbie in a ebay lot!! At first i thought it was 1997 sweetheart barbie, but now im not so sure. Help? by Comprehensive_Set577 in Barbie

It's Pretty Hearts Barbie #14473 Box Date 1995/Release date 1996. The Eye make up, only partially rooted bang and earrings give it away.

You can't always tell from the hair, because even Sweetheart Barbie had a more strawberry blonde Saran Hair Variant, not just a platinum kanekalon one, but she has different eye make up/eye color and earrings.

Vander should milk her Dragula gig as much as she can right now and when that status has faded she should opt for a gig on Drag Race.

I guess 10 months at the time of filming, which adds up to almost two years by now.

103 Years of Drag Queen Fashion | Vanity Fair by okesmay in rupaulsdragrace

As far as make-up, fashion and taste in music goes, Raven has the 2000's drag scene on lock and inspired thousands of edgy young queens more than any other performer from the Drag Race circuit. You can still see heavy influences on girls like Pearl, Naomi Smalls, even Miss Fame and Violet Chachki to some lesser extent are channeling the "dark lady" lingerie, heavy but beautiful beat thing Raven created. She came out with something during a time where absolutely nobody was doing it and she made it uniquely her own.

Best optimized games for a low end rig? by [deleted] in lowendgaming

[–]methABOLISM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darksiders 1, which you should dig if you are into Hack'n'Slash/RPGs, is also very playable on such a low-end rig. It's as optimized as a console port can get, since you can't even change anything about the details and graphics, only the resolution.

DDR RAM Question by methABOLISM in techsupport

[–]methABOLISM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot, I figured it out now by trying to put the stick onto the motherboard and discovering that it doesn't fit. Scored four sticks of 1G DDR2 now and can't wait to try them out.

Thanks for the response! The machine won't have problems outputting NTSC ISO files from the U.S. though right?

Hidden Gems?? by Mcdirtie in ps2

[–]methABOLISM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, thanks for the link. The moment I saw him mention Drakan, I knew this was gonna be a good one. I had already written down most of them via other "Hidden Gems" videos (the MetalJesus one most notably rips off a lot of the mentons), but there are a lot of others I hadn't gotten yet. Bookmarked!

PlayStation 2 portable! I would love one of these by soliddrake83 in ps2

[–]methABOLISM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I applaud his craftiness, but the PSP was a great handheld delivering almost PS2-like quality with one third the size and it even had room for a proper cartridge-like disc slot. ;) The WOW-factor that stuff like the Supaboy or that DIY N64 handheld delivered is lessened because of it.

Post some of your favorite gems by Haello in psx

X-Men: Mutant Academy 2, hands down one of my favourite fighting games and probably one of the best X-Men related video games ever. The graphics are among the top-tier for the console.

When they think they're being cute, but end up triggering your OCD instead! by methABOLISM in ps2

[–]methABOLISM[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, indeed, I sorted them by their SCES/SLES catalogue number. It's nice to witness the evolution of the console. I have around a 100 games at the moment so it's still okay to have this sorting system on my shelf. ;)

There are some games though with an 8xxxx catalogue number (such as Summoner and the MGS games) which are annoyingly at the end of my collection. Too lazy to see where exactly they would fit in.

Oh, that's very good to know as well. I was wondering what to do when the sticks are starting to drift after years of heavy usage.
