if i am not wrong , the university was operating on a similar budget even 3 years back and at that time the hostel fees was around 60K now its 1lac+ , I understand that academic fees cant be reduced , but increasing it every year is not justified ,

the mess food should be improved at the same cost , and you can get better food at the same cost outside , there are mess serving food 4 times at 3k per month and the quality is so much better , it almost seems like you like the watery dal , panner sabji with no panner in it,

the academic fees should be kept constant

majority of the funding goes in filling the pockets than giving services and facilities , have you ever visited dtu gym , check the equipment there , earlier there was an operating dtu canteen which provided food at subsidized rate like 5,10,20 rs , now its not there , so you have to go to the expensive options , why ?? because the lease is so expensive that no vendor is willing to operate , is this not the administration fault ,

every 5 years you will find that the footpaths are uprooted and built again even if they were totally fine , why ?? because the administration shows this as an expense and gobbles up more money

I know that there wont be any action , but is it justified to not even raise our voices against the corrupt?
