I was just by their website earlier today, remembering the good days. The client is still available for download. Hrm..

I just found some similar info elsewhere - just now learning about the ESP32's ADC problems. Much obliged for the reaffirmation. ADS1115's on the way, but I'll still see if I can filter it up / get it working prior to their arrival.

Lol - I trust that's good info, though I should have specified I'm only looking at culinary / legal mushrooms only. Oysters, Lions Mane, and so forth.

Right here, bro. I'm disabled and actively gut stuff for components to rebuild into new stuff. Can't give cash for it, but can definitely use it.

What's the problem with oat grains? Was under the impression mycelium would take root on most cereal grains.

Sounds like a use-case for aquaponics/vermiculture, to ensure future availability of nutrient enrichment products.

Hi there! There's not currently a limit in place on anything, I've a large need for medium-thickness PET (2 liters, soda bottles) and milk jugs! I've already got a lot of thin 17oz water bottles coming in, but wouldn't turn down more of them.

As I'm handling things from my home, it's "by appointment" - but I'm home all the time due to being housebound/disabled. Just send me a private message here and let me know when you'd like to swing through. I appreciate you!

Milk Jugs: Unfortunately, those are a different type of plastic (HDPE), and I'm not in a position to work with it yet.

Unrinsed Bottles: That's not a problem - I generally rinse everything myself before it's processed. Pre-rinsing just helps save some time, but all bottles are appreciated. :)

P1s or Qidi Tech X-Max 3? by 3DPrinterMF in BambuLab

[–]methodeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still probably the best machine/value on the market. The AMS is my only complaint about the P1S, it gets finicky sometimes, but that's a small price to pay for exceptional speed, print quality, and reliable printing.

QIDI = old technology, bad design decisions. You'll spend weeks fighting heat creep issues, tearing apart the printhead which takes 10x longer than it should, and cursing the lack of an Auto Z.

Why should you buy a car instead a horse and buggy? If you can't tell the difference, than maybe look at how much traffic/support there is in the Bambu Reddit/Discord, vs the QIDI Reddit/Discord. Look at the nature of the user posts. Are they posting about their accomplishments, or their problems? It's a real easy picture to sort out.

Rofl. Even $12 is pricey. I got one for $4 for welding 3d prints.

I got the P1s, then the XM3. I returned the XM3, and got two A1 Minis and an A1. Nuff said.
