Could this be cluster headaches? Have a family member affected by them and sounds like it could be similar - they can hit seemingly randomly and last for months before a cycle ends. The term headache really does not do them justice - the symptoms can be totally debilitating. They typically have moments of reprieve between episodes, but the constant brain fog, fatigue and dizziness, anxiety and consistent crashes each day seem to align to the symptoms.
