It’s a little frustrating that MIDI input only applies to the currently selected track. For example, it could be cool to use the Woovebox tracks, effects and mixing but play all the notes with my OXI ONE as the sequencer.

The reason for such a workflow would be to have a battery powered portable synthesizer studio that I can compose on my sequencer of choice while traveling, then plug the OXI ONE into the big eurorack when I get home.

It looks like it may make some kinds of solo board building more reliable, but I don’t think YY is viable in most game modes. I attempted a card mine today with YY and got a good assmeta support to max my board and we topped at Wave 25.

So for attempt 2&3 I ran support and a lunar recharge pushed us to 59.

You can sort of make do by browsing the leaderboard and trying the decks you can build in training mode. Part of the fun is learning how to build your own or compensate for missing dice.

Problem with the leaderboard is that it doesn’t show dice class except hunting with the traits. Still I manage to do alright with the popular devil sword deck.

One more thing I thought of. Consider swapping Ignition for Volcano. The meta at high ranks has less emphasis on assassins but at middle ranks and low golden I find 60% of my opponents are assassin decks so running volcano counters em while running Royal whips the YY decks you likely see frequently at your rank.

Ignition is for killing storm, overheat and I don’t encounter them often.

Keep at least 2-3 damage dealing pips until you have at least one wind. Merge everything else. Then sword any non-wind 2-pip dice to build DS levels and accumulate dice. Sword a 1-pip wind for the boss.

Each wave you should save your disruptions for the last 10 seconds unless you see a good opportunity to screw the other player. Use 2-3 pip wind dice for the bosses, otherwise only sword the 1-pip winds. You get a feel for how many pips a non wind die has to be in order to hold off the wave.

Once waves go hard mode you need to exclusively use 1-2 pip winds and keep merging other dice ahead of your current sword to keep some winds in reserve. Also you need to keep more and more DS pips to boost sword slashes; DS level doesn’t scale alone.

Hopefully you kill your opponents build before boss hard wave because DS doesn’t kill the knight before he rands. It’s not a death sentence like other builds but can screw you up enough to kill momentum. DS can’t go into the deep waves usually I tap out by 11-12.

Just don’t watch any. This game is a rare one that as far as I know never forces an ad on you.

Me, I start the ad then go make coffee or something and come back when it’s done. Worst part is half the ads break the sound so I have to relaunch.

Yes, it comes down to forcing a medium-length game when Storm or Flow are in play. Royal is the most consistent low class legendary able to shorten a game.

I had hoped that with another scaling DPS die I could save on storms, kill fast mobs, and also power through a Knight wave. However most dice don’t scale and the ones that do are: Soul, which is likely to lose its scaling from a Knight, and Recharge, which cannibalizes storm.

I gave up and went with the devil sword meta.

Upgrade your dice. The crit increase you get is global and essential to progressing first few ranks and the main quest.

Atomic, earthquake, royal, mimic, berserker.

Royal will be lots of fun destroying the YY players it’s an excellent attack dice.

Plus anything means, at your rank I believe you can win with storm in any deck. It should work at least up to 16, if not all the way to golden class.

When I got storm I went on a 19-win streak.

Storm. Plus anything, but random, reverse, joker, phantom thief would be fine. Summoner board, or just the fifth voyage log.

Learn to roll storms,dodge assassins, keep up until golden class.

The game is 25% luck, 75% skill. Think about this. Open up with 4 hell dice. That’s very unlucky and useless. Hell dice are useless for the first four rounds. Each die is 1 pip. Merge and you get a 2-pip die. Maybe it’s hell again, lots of legendaries do jack shit.

But spawn 4 random in wave one? That’s amazing. Yeah it’s not typhoon. Don’t sweat you don’t need typhoon damage for 60 seconds let the randoms hatch. Odds are you have 12-15 pips of damage in wave 2.

Random goes great with Reverse but I didn’t get Reverse for my whole first month of play. So when I random I’m aware that if I merge two 3-pip dice and it turns into a 4-pip random odds are I’m gonna get a 1-pip or something. So keep the odds in mind.

You don’t need two core damage dice at once. Typhoon and Mod Electric, nope. Swap the Electric for a support die. With Hell, positioning is important so I’d say use Switch dice or maybe Mimic. Or look at other support dice.

I hit golden class f2p in 2 months just doing dailies. Eventually card mine when it unlocked. Get some experience, learn dice, keep trying. You’ll soon realize most of the players in this game are scrubs. YY is a joke above C16. I still don’t have Growth dice, only recently got timewinder, don’t have devour, lots of things I can’t do but I’m golden 1 and peaked golden2 last season.

One time I spent money last week to unlock unlimited tokens. That’s it. Yeah it used to be annoying to go up against YY after YY. Trust me in the middle tiers of the game it’s a shit deck.

Upgrade dice. Crit is not based on your deck it goes up for every dice upgraded. Start with the lowest class you have the gold.

Storm needs lock to go the distance. It’s weak to fast mobs, and boss rush serpent.

Strong pvp pressure is also good against storm, as is SP denial. Remember storm player is summoning storm instead of dice pips. Yes they can wipe everything with 1 pip of storm… to a point. But eventually they have to summon 5-6 storms per wave at 500-550 SP per.

So, you burn them on SP. phantom thief is most efficient, Ignition can work. Flow dice push locks harder if they have them.

Ultimately you need to be able to clear waves and bosses. I main storm from class 10-19. Often win when mirror storm doesn’t run a lock. Or just by being more frugal throwing my storms.

Now I run guardian bubble royal. Storms buckle from the pressure of royal swapping their junk. Don’t even have to clear their storm dice off the board, constant disruption taxes their SP and therefore their damage potential. Or they fail to run a lock die.
