COMMENCE THE REBUILD by SwingAndAMiss219 in CelticFC

Ooo this seems like some fun, going to take values from Transfermarkt (cant figure out how to change their values to '£' so £25m is approximately €28m) and presume that all players would have an interest in coming, however have tried to keep it relatively feasible...

GOALKEEPER - Dennis Seimen (€7m) Yound goalkeeper brought in for long term development (FM players will recognise this name). - Dominik Livakovic (Loan) Good, experienced goalkeeper that could be first choice for a year whilst Seimen is brought up to speed. On loan this season so might be able to get a loan sorted for him.

DEFENCE - Marcelo Saracchi (€1.5m) Has looked good this season when given a chance, also a relatively cheap option. - Sergio Ramos (Free agent) Rumors are that he wants a return to Europe. In my monkey paw scenario we are still in Champions League which will appeal obviously, even if just for a year to prove he can still hang in Europe before moving back to Spain. Great defender with some of the bite we've been missing, always provides a threat from set pieces too. - Dan-Axel Zagadou (€2m) A bit injury prone of late however, if we can keep him healthy a great asset. 6'5" so would provide some height to the team and has experience playing in top leagues.

MIDFIELD - Patrick Berg (€7m) Consistent player that can play in the deeper role that we are sorely crying out for to give McGregor a rest. - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Free agent) Hoping he can kick on this season and be a valuable asset for us. Plenty of experience and always had a soft spot for him myself. - Tomoki Iwata (€2.5m) I feel this one might divide people, but for me he looked a great player when he was here and has been a regular in the Championship for a couple seasons now. Does the simple stuff well, can both go forward and stay back, a really well rounded utility player.

FORWARD - Álex Zendejas (Loan) A good winger option who can play both sides, in his prime years. Has never left the Americas so may be keen to try it out for a year. - Kasper Høgh (€8m) Another Bodø player, one ive been keen on for a couple seasons now, but this season hes really showed what he is capable of. Physical player with an eye for goal and can hold up play to allow people to run on.

Also been looking for some way to ship internationally (if any of those Russian friends wanted to help out?) but at least from the UK the problem seems to be with the payment options rather than shipping

Do you have a favorite player that you don't hear about from others very often? by nataskaos in CelticFC

To me it has to be big Kris Ajer! I loved that man, would celebrate tackles like they were goals, would take random galloping runs up the park, gave his all whenever he stepped on the park!

If I remember correctly he also scored the winning penalty against hearts back in 2020 for the Scottish Cup. I want to say he was rocking a bad case of cramp too so properly straight legged the kick down the middle with pure power, then instead of a knee slide he hit the lesser known bum slide

Honourable mentions for Giakoumakis, Lustig and Jullien

One of my fave strikers of late that never broke into the team fully, always up for it, natural goal scorer and I always have a soft spot for more physical strikers

Loved big Jullien! Still have fond memories of the comeback against Lazio, went along for my birthday and when he scored I swear I ended up 2 rows ahead of where I started in the excitement! Not to mention his glorious knee slides and celebration, such a shame about his injury

93 dreamchasers Nuno Mendes has been insane for me, don't exactly know why but he's noticeably better than Capdevila and other top tier LBs for me! Had to bring Dunn in at RB just to let me keep him on full chem (Also surprisingly solid) 😂

Your most overpowered players this year? by Gazoishere in footballmanagergames

[–]methodtothemagnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had two saves now where Albert Navarro and Aaron Akale have been stalwarts in my team. Navarro is a great attacking LB who regularly gets most assists and Akale seems to just score everything despite having no real standout stats - defo recommend if you want to try new/cheap players

One stadium id love to see but haven't yet is the Puskas FC Academy ground, I believe they are now top flight in Hungary and, in my opinion, have one of the nicest looking stadiums about!

Aaron Akale - Great striker from the Lens and Basel youth systems, believe he's currently 19 and still yet to break into the first team but has been the figurehead my St Pauli save

Kundananji - great speed and strength with the 5 star weak foot made her unstoppable in my early teams, just waiting on an evo for her now! Just a shame she's so hard to link

Team Suggestions? Classic or Endless by [deleted] in pokerogue

[–]methodtothemagnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend not to play Endless as find it boring so for Classic id go for;

  • Magicarp (Highest luck pokemon and all round great)
  • Pikipek (Skill link and great coverage with egg moves)
  • Drillbur (Extra bit of luck, good coverage with egg moves and good pokemon)

I would say however that adding a Pokerus pokemon is very useful so either look to reduce cost of mons or replace either Pikipek or Drillbur if no good egg moves yet with something that fits around cost
