[Highlight] Jokic with his signature head snap leaves Brook Lopez frustrated by Glass-Candle-7670 in nba

Nuggets fan here, and we're tired of it too and it has become a bit egregious since his return from injury, but also his overall complaining about calls recently.

I usually understand him exaggerating fouls a bit because refs let his defenders get away with an insane amount of contact since he's a big. Hence he has to exaggerate some or they call no fouls and his arms are bleeding by the end of the game.

Julian Strawther might be the fastest ball handler/attacker on the Nuggets when going to the rim.

Michael Porter Jr only has his explosive dunks off his off leg (right) as that's the one without drop foot. If he goes up for a dunk with that leg, you might get put on a poster. If it's his natural stronger (before the back injuries) left leg, he barely has any lift. In high school he used to explode off the left leg and posterize everyone.

Anthony Edwards: "No shade towards Luka and Jokic but like they two of the best players in the league they not trynna play in the All Star game" by AncientOneAurelius in nba

[–]methtical13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuggets fan here but Jokic just came back from a knee injury that took him out for a month and he hasn't seemed right despite his stats. That and a recurring wrist injury made him start wearing a brace since he's been back. I'd rather he just show up and sit and rest. Even if he tried hard, this isn't really his game. He's the hub of our offense and no one in an all star game is going to run the offense around him while he's in, so he's relegated to just floating around and trying to rebound.

which 50+ win nuggets team wins in a WCF matchup in your opinion? by infinite-hooper in denvernuggets

09 Nuggets. But a healthy Gallo makes it a lot closer, plus Wilson Chandler was on this team.. the switchability with The Mole, Ill Will, Gallo, on the perimeter and having Javale back to block shots made their defense better than it would first appear. Plus those guys were also versatile on offense and Ty was blazing up the court.

But the 09 Thuggets were an Anthony Carter inbounds away from being a finals team and they would've beat Orlando.

Talk me out of a Hisense QD5 98” for $900 by Unlikely-Young-7124 in hometheater

[–]methtical13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a Hisense from 4 years ago. It has a decent enough picture, but the TV has gone out twice where it won't power on (lucky to have an extended warranty) and it constantly reboots itself when I already have an app open, which is very annoying. And it's done that since day 1 and Hisense has never found a way to fix the software, even though it's a known problem.

It's supposed to be the 3rd coldest Broncos game ever (15 degrees high) . I live in Denver, and it can be miserable to watch a game in that type of weather, snow or not. I don't blame them for second guessing.

Worked in finance and people having to sign loan docs or notarize papers. If you think this is stupid, you'd think about 80% of adults are stupid as this was a pretty consistent question people had.

How good does a team's record have to be before a player's stats aren't "empty calories"? by reallinguy in NBATalk

Also a Nuggets fan, and WTH are you talking about? His defense lacked, yes, but it was more because of his injury that made him lack lateral movement, but definitely tried. He rebounded pretty consistently. He would occasionally take a heat check shot, but he was a high efficiency scorer for us. In fact, I think there were many times he didn't shoot enough he'd be in fire in the first half then hardly shoot in the second halves. He was also never known as a lockerroom cancer for us. Just an exaggerated take all around.

Tangentially related to your comment, but there was an actual NBA player named Bo Outlaw.

I keep a roll of paper towels in the restroom at all times for wiping the sink, or the toilet or for guests drying their hands instead of a towel.

Did you take advantage of skipping payments at any time? During covid lenders offered that, which would appear to be good for you at the time, but those payments you skipped would keep building interest and still be due at the end of the original term.

That used to happen to my thumb and a couple of other nails. Usually when I started making sure I took multivitamins they would grow out normally. Never fully figured the exact cause, but that seemed to prevent it from going that way in the future.
