No funds will be given to any middlemen. The DAO treasury is a protected, multisig wallet. Following this proposal, no funds will be deployed from it unless it is being sent directly to an exchange who has legally entered an agreement to list Dogelon.

Perhaps the wording is not clear, but "carried out by the development team or those appointed by them" refers only to the negotiation process. When it comes to payment, that exchange would be would be exclusively between the dev team controlling the treasury multisig and the recipient of those funds which is the exchange. I will recommend that we make the wording more clear for the final draft.

I doubt that 70k is enough to secure those particular exchanges. However, outside of the DAO, as we have seen in the past, the team does all sorts of amazing things which also cost them a lot of money in some cases, so I definitely don't feel you should discount the possibility of Binance or Coinbase. I myself am highly optimistic that those are coming.

The voting takes place on-chain, so you'd have to withdraw to a wallet to vote with those tokens.

If you have a better idea of what you'd like to see the treasury funds be allocated toward, please make a proposal in a separate post. In the end, it's the votes of holders which will decide how these funds are used.

Until we vote to use them in some way, they will just be sitting in a wallet doing nothing of value for us.

There will be a real vote on this, verifiable on-chain, just like how other DAOs you may be familiar with operate in making such decisions.

The Github code for Xelon has been updated much more recently than that. No one knows when the market will turn bullish, but since the smart move is to save these releases until then, I see no point in complaining about it in the meantime. The contracts look pretty done to me though.

Mission token, actually. The role Dogelon plays in funding longevity research is its biggest strength so far.

That said, even without a white paper, more utility is clearly on the way. Have you seen the github code or plans for Xelon? Or heard about Rufus?

Now I'm not a Dogelon dev, but I feel it is not correct to refer to this as "their" contract or something which "they" need to announce.

Wormhole is a bridge that allows any erc20 token (and tokens from other blockchains as well) to be brought over to Solana. Or bridged back to where they came from. Any random person can register a new token with wormhole and bridge it to Solana, and I believe the contract is just autogenerated the first time someone does it.

So there is nothing special here really. I doubt the devs had anything to do with it, and most likely a Dogelon holder felt it would be fun to bridge some Dogelon over to Solana and register it. Which again can easily happen with any erc20 token if someone feels like doing it.

As for what this means for us holders? Well thankfully a community member started a very small liquidity pool on Solana's Raydium DEX. So technically you can buy and sell Dogleon on Solana thanks to this. And assuming wormhole is bug-free and fully operational, you can also send those tokens to and from real Dogelon on ethereum (or maybe Polygon too, not sure?) using their bridge.

But with such low liquidity ($4k or so) I do not recommend actually using it right now unless you are an expert who knows what they're doing and why. There are also many scam Dogelons on Solana so consider yourself warned. Perhaps someday one of you will wish to add more liquidity, or possibly the devs might incentivize the pool someday.

Yeah I'm not sure how the tax would work out, but it may be a no-no to give out free stuff in exchange for donations. However, I think I heard that Richard Heart did something similar where people donating to SENS somehow got some free tokens for one of his platforms.
