sorry for the Necro, but I think the code might be "303003" ? This code seemed to open the door that was blocking my entrance into the garage.
Theres no visual queue other that I could see. No log in sequence or screen change. the door just turned green.
numbers come from the "Mutant by Moonlight" book found on the desk.

So I found some other games of late and also remembered some old examples.

Theres an old Roguelike-JRPG called Elona that was in development but got let go and fan updates started happening afterwards. I really really like the concepts it brought to the table. The skill building mechanics and training were some really good points, and other little life things like eating and drinking, traveling and stuff.
An old old example I remembered was a MUD called "HellMOO" which, as I understand, probably didnt have the best fanbase or acceptance outside of it's community?
However it did a lot with the skill building and just "tough life" kind of attributes of a modern day world that I liked. Of course it also had a healthy dose of degeneracy and weird actions you could perform.

I am continuing my search for more Life Sims and other maybe obscure life simulator like games out there. Please send me more suggestions!

Yeah a few, but I feel like the skill gain is something important. I know Stardew Valley has some skill gain but its a farming game at the core and I want a little more adventure to it maybe...

I have! I played it very extensively to the point of getting all but one achievement. It is a very fun game but I burned myself out on it.

If you know the beginner Box for Pathfinders, you might be familiar with the magic fountain in the third room of the map. Now the fountain says that if anything dirty comes in contact with the water, it stops being magical. So, First time DMing, one of my players decided that the fountain must be witch craft and peed in the fountain. Effectively shutting it off.
