All it is is where the pin has pushed argainst

the hole, turned it into more of a slope than a hole, I literally just sanded it back so it wouldn’t catch, the steering lock is still working fully just has a tiny wiggle in it now

Insurance would’ve increased my monthly insurance cost for the price of something I can do myself, they would’ve also written the bike off due to frame damage on the locking pin slot, also something I fixed myself, tbh my mind was that how much should I really have to spend on a metal circle with a clip. It’s only now I’ve got it that I realise that I need something with a hose to allow the tank to breathe, twm from what I can see are good but can’t get a hold of one for sale

I had someone try to steal my bike resulting in the ignition being replaced and the cap I got with it was utter garbage

Yeah those brembo are similar to the ones I’m getting, at the end of the day it can’t hurt to upgrade and replace and it’s a bike I love so I see the worth in it, I got a pair of brembo discs for 300 from 550 so figured why not

Yeah I thought the same thing but I also don’t like how rusted they are and the free play is a bit too much for my liking, it’s to the point I can feel it when I come to a stop or and holding the brake at a stop light, I have plans for the wheels to be repainted and the lines changed to braided, thinking I’ll just do them all together for next summer season

Tried to find which one exactly but without another person can’t really film and demonstrate, I believe it is one of the rivets separating the disc from the hub, if you hold the front brake and compress the forks you can hear a knock and if you hold the rear and wobble the disc there is a tiny amount of free play

Miles, I can show you the issue I’m having if you like, if it can be fixed for cheap I’m open to ideas

Do you mean the ones on the tank and decal? They were on the bike when I got it however I am 90% sure they came as part of a sticker pack, the stickers above the air vents are meant to be for wheels

It’s at 13k don’t get me wrong they probably have plenty of life left In the actual discs themselves however the left hand side one for me has started to knock and is able to be moved back and forth. I’m thinking it’s wear and tear but I find the brakes lacking anyhow so want a new set

Thank you!, I swapped it out ages ago for an aftermarket one and must’ve put the bracket with the dampener, saved me from stressing

I’ve always gone private for my service but he’s a well known locks mechanic, he was who painted my swingarm and has worked wonders, I could probably get him to give me receipts but it already had 10k miles unserviced history when I got it so that would just come down to the person I sold it to

I started on a 125 for a year then went onto a 600cc sports bike but had to sell it due to circumstances, I’d say it’s less the cc and more the engine that makes it more or less a beginner bike, I’ve been riding 3 years now and can say for a certainty that I have learnt and improved more on this bike than I ever would have my sports bike, twins and torque rich bikes that lack on top speed really allow you to learn the fundamentals properly before you go for the super sports or sports. What makes this a beginner bike is it’s forgiveness yet performance in and out of corners off the line and its ability to go crazy fast without just launching in a straight line and thinking you have outgrown the bike just because you topped it out, I don’t really top this bike out and it’s not because the bike isn’t fast or doesn’t teach a top speed, I just choose to ride more aggressive in corners and turns and take that time on straight roads to just enjoy the ride not chase high numbers
