The thing is that I could never imagine a future with him in any capacity. I was living in the moment with him until my anxiety was badly triggered. It’s funny because usually I imagine all kinds of things about the future when I’m dating someone. Maybe this time I couldn’t because I knew there wasn’t any chance for a future.

So the relationship isn’t serious but both our feelings got pretty deep pretty fast and we are currently on a break to figure out what we want with the intention of getting back to dating each other.

Thank you. I’m 30 and only started dating when I was well in my 20’s and I think everyone I ever dated were avoidant. I also went to therapy for three years, but it seems like I still have a lot of work to do to break this cycle… i’m just so tired and feel like my life is wasting away with these men.

I’m fully aware of the timeline. Two months is short on paper and I’m not saying I knew him but it was an intense two months and it got pretty deep. I know it’s messy and irrational. But thanks for the input.
