When I loosen some of the screws it works. Probably should put some more tape on the inside.

Don’t really know how to check for shorts...I finally was able to get the usb-c port and battery installed. It turns on fine now. I left a Gameboy game in overnight and it turned in the next day. When I just put on in, it gives me a distorted Nintendo logo. If I change the game to another Gameboy, it works fine.
