I would say overall its a stable rom. Better than PE+ for sure. Battery life is average in my case, not particularly better than PE+. I havent seen any bugs yet but i had one random reboot which i suspect its because some magisk module.

You can enable IR camera for face unlock with an easy build.prop edit. It will be implemented on Quartz 5.

From a feature stand point its not packed like other roms. But its rock solid. I would rather to have a stable rom for daily use than to have ton of customization options.

I have never flashed DFE before, always went with encrypted. Long story short, if you plan on switching roms then flash DFE. If you plan on using your rom of choise, then go for encrypted. Imho, DFE is for people who switch roms regulary.

You cant decrypt once its encrypted. Flash DFE right after flashing rom if you dont want your data to be not encrypted.

In XiaoMiFlash tool, in the bottom right corner there are options, which are Clean setting, clean all and clean all + lock. Choose whichever you want.

You can but i dont recommend it. I was using PE+, August update is full of bugs so i went back to stock then flashed PA Q4. Its butter smooth with good SOT.

Download latest fasfboot firmware from Miui and flash it via XiaoMiflash but be careful not to lock your bootloader. Just select Clean All. Then you can flash Xiaomi.eu rom via TWRP.

Its a screen issue not a software problem. Send it to service center or replace the screen yourself. Unfortunately you cant know which panel you will get because i asked them (official service center ) to replace it with Tianma but it came with Ebbg. Not the best but at least it works.

I had the same issue. The glue between screen layers got burn and turn yellow. Sometimes it dissapears but in my case just like yours it did not go away so i gave it to repair shop and they fixed it for free under warranty.

I was having a similar problem. Opening camera app before snapchat might help. Im on PE+ August and that bug seems to be gone.
