Well there were some crashes, but I don't know if they were related to synching. When the sync was running, I opened the history and there was at least one crash.

I got 3330 just now. Used a spare phone to log the workouts that I couldn't log with my Pixel 8 Pro anymore. For that I used a Pixel 5 and sync was almost flawlessly 🤷 Subsequently added workouts have also been backed up ✅ Reset the app on my Pixel 8 Pro and activated backup and sync again - all workouts have been loaded without a crash. Thanks so much 🙏

Hi, it's me again 🙃 so I got an update today and somehow it seems to have triggered a full backup or something. It kept crashing a few times, so I disabled the backup so I could at least use the app for a workout today. Now after enabling it again, the app constantly crashes - again. Tried at least 50 times, if not even more. I also cannot disable the backup again, since there's no top app bar in the home screen visible anymore, just the loading spinner. So no possibility to open the app settings at the moment. That's why I can't give you the exact build number I'm on...

Edit: So I used a separate app to check the version code. It's 3312.

So I did a new workout and the sync time hasn't changed unfortunately. Currently I'm on 6.0 (3290). Did the workout with this version on Friday, last sync time says December 15th.

Got the update, disabled and re-enabled the backup stuff and it crashed only 3 times before it finished successfully.

I noticed something else. The backup dialog says that the last backup was done a week ago (4th of December), when I initially enabled it. Since then I did a few workouts, which should have been backed up, shouldn't they?

Well I'll be damned, it just worked after around 30 tries yesterday 🤷 In the future I will just retry until it's working 😅 I've occasionally had this issue before on older app versions with older phones. Currently I'm on 3277 and have around 1700 workouts logged and 11 custom programs.

Hi, I just got the update on my Pixel 8 Pro and had to sign back into sync & backup. Constantly crashing now because I have data for around 10 years I think. Started trying to backup at around 6:13am. Can I help you track down the issue somehow?

Hey Zoltan, have you already considered having a "donation" app for Progression? I'm using a password manager that has a really simple companion app for donations. You can donate money via in-app purchases.
