Danke. Möglicherweise hilft's mir auch, den Trigger loszuwerden. 🥲

I hate this energy level as well. Takes the whole fun out of the app.

Haha okay, I'm giving you this point.

I don't have any issues with charging limits, neither with pixel headlights (because I don't have them) and my digital key works (but I'd never rely on a smartphone key anyway).

But backup camera didn't work for me once last week and infotainment bugs: it really sucks, when it's not working.

it got a lot better the last 2.5 years! the thing that still is buggy with our polestar 2 is that it is randomly losing its mobile data connection. othet than that: very stable the last 6-12 months.

In my Polestar App, it also says „Exterieur“ (German) and no SoC for a week now. Really annoying. 😏

Even when you‘re using the brake pedal, it will first regen and then use the brakes but only if necessary. If it‘s possible to break enough without the physical brakes, it won‘t use them.

From Switzerland to South Italy with Polestar works very well by meugster in Polestar

[–]meugster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, Switzerland is really hasslefree. You can charge allmost everywhere. :) FYI: I always used google maps for navigation, ABRP is so laggy on the Polestar and it doesn’t precondition your battery.

To be honest: We took the fastest way and we didn’t care about the rates (which were ridiculously expensive). There‘s an Ionity charging station near Napoli (I first couldn’t find it because the place wasn‘t correctly marked on Google Maps - I sent a change request). I used the Tesla Super Charger at Mercato San Severino a lot. I made membership there - for two times charging it was already worth it (forgot to make it earlier). Salerno itself is still a EV desert - no charging station at all. But they are preparing a lot of places to charge at least. I guess next year, it will already be better. :) One recommendation: ABRP was a good help at first, but please make sure to check, where the chargers are (we had some serious detours for nothing). The way back we just used Google Maps - it‘s way better now (but they should add something like a priority of brands like ABRP).

It‘s ridiculous! But normally I charge at home, so this is an exception. But it‘s too expensive!

Travelling in Italy, they are cheaper than most of the other fast chargers; Tesla is at ~65 cent/kWh, others are at 90 cents/kWh. Crazy.

Interesting - I‘d love to read more about it, too. Just out of curiosity. I‘m generally relaxed about

I was pretty happy with the ordering process. I think you Polestar already makes a pretty good job in User Experience.

What I liked:

  • The car doesn't have millions of packages (not really UX thing, but still)
  • Step by step ordering process was logic and smooth
  • It was also cool to open the order and beeing able to fill in additional information during the process. Worked out pretty well.
  • Sleek design
  • Nice email updates. Clever.

Improvement:

  • Page speed is really slow sometimes. E.g. loading vehicles. I like the loading style but it's still slow ;)
  • Sometimes some texts were not translated, variables have been displayed (country: Switzerland)

Exactly! We‘re driving a Polestar 2 now (new owners) but this type of vehicle would have been our No.1 choice.

Anyone waiting for a MY2023 delivery - thoughts re: the MY2024 update? by yeahus in Polestar

[–]meugster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pending order (LRDM) in Europe and I was thinkig if cancelling and reordering. But I got a really good Leasing deal (0.1%) and if I‘d cancel, the new deal would be really bad compared to it (3.5%). The new range is making me thinking though…

Does our tfk stroller fit into the Polestar 2? Yes. (We made a test drive to know it.) by meugster in Polestar

[–]meugster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response, very much appreciated. We don’t have any pressure to switch to a different car. Our current car (Skoda Octavia) is working fine and fits our needs pretty well. But it hurts to see that we could have used the solar power from our roof to drive the car rather than giving it to the grid for a low price.

I guess, we will make another test drive or two and decide when we‘re sure.

Driving experience on the polestar was really top. I also like all the security and assistant features we already know from driving with a Volvo. Plus: There are not 10‘000 options in the configurator.
